First National Bank Bemidji Exceeds United Way Pacesetter Goal, Raises $61,519.29

First National Bank Bemidji is proud to announce that employees have once again stepped up to support the United Way of the Bemidji Area as a Pacesetter, exceeding the bank’s $60,000 fundraising goal by raising $61,519.29 this year.
As a Pacesetter, First National Bank Bemidji has made supporting the United Way and its work in the community a priority. While employee giving is at the heart of the bank’s annual campaign, a variety of creative fundraising activities throughout the year help make the bank’s contribution possible.
Employees have participated in summer food truck events, gourmet coffee orders, Casual for a Cause days and live auctions to raise additional funds for the campaign. These events not only generate dollars for the United Way, but also provide opportunities for employees to have fun, connect with one another and make a difference in the community.
Behind the fundraising efforts is a dedicated employee committee that works throughout the year to develop fun, engaging and creative ways to encourage participation.
“We are incredibly proud of what our employees accomplish each year for the United Way,” said Dawn Carpenter, Internal Audit Officer and United Way Committee Member. “Reaching our $60,000 goal and exceeding it is a reflection of the generosity and commitment of our employees. Our Pacesetter committee puts so much time and creativity into making these fundraisers successful, and we truly couldn’t do it without their hard work.”
The United Way of the Bemidji Area supports programs and organizations working to improve lives throughout the local community. First National Bank Bemidji is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the United Way and its campaign each year.
The bank’s commitment to giving back is part of its long-standing focus on strengthening the communities it serves. Through employee giving, volunteerism, sponsorships and community partnerships, First National Bank Bemidji strives to live out its Better Together philosophy. “Every dollar raised represents employees coming together to make a difference,” said Dawn. “We’re proud to be part of a community where people are willing to pitch in, have a little fun and support one another.”
