When you make a purchase, a device-specific number and unique transaction code is used – not your actual card number. So, when you pay, merchants will not see or store your card numbers. You also get added security when you set your phone to unlock upon password, fingerprint or facial recognition. Each transaction is also authenticated by either password, fingerprint or facial recognition.
