Certificates of Deposit

A Certificate of Deposit, or CD, is a non-negotiable instrument representing funds which the customer agrees to deposit in the bank for a specific amount of time. The interest rate paid on these funds depends on the amount and the term of the deposit. We have tiered rates - the larger the investment, the greater the interest. Watch for our special promotions.

  • Terms of CD's range from 91 days to 5 years

  • Minimum balances range from $500 to $1000 which vary with the term of the CD

  • Interest Rates are guaranteed for the term of the investment

  • Interest may be credited to an account, paid by check or compounded, depending on the term of the certificate.

  • Apply Online to set up an account

Another benefit of investing in FNBB Certificate of Deposit is the security of FDIC insurance. See details at  http://www.fdic.gov/deposit/deposits/insured/index.html.
